This Weeks Website Slowdowns Due To DDoS Attacks
12
Have you noticed a slow down on your website or someone else's website this week?  If you have, it was probably caused by an attack on the server your website is being hosted on.  The attack is called a denial-of-service attack (DoS attack) or distributed denial-of-service attack (DDoS attack) and is an attempt to make a computer or network resource unavailable to its intended users.

Although your website is safe, these attacks are causing massive slow downs on servers that extends to 10s if not 100s of thousands of servers across the world.  The source of the attacks is still not clear but everything is being done to protect the servers and resolve these issues.

Unfortunately, this condition may cause an interruption of service to your website or email that can last 4 to 6 hours while the servers are protected.  We have experienced these delays all week over many servers that are hosted sites reside on.

Thank you for your patience!
