Below is information that might help you if you are using our Smarter Mail System

Smarter Mail - Logging in Online and Set up
You may access your mail account with Outlook but it is also good to access your mail settings with your browser to adjust your settings as desired.

  • Your email is stored on our server until it is accessed with your preferred program, like Outlook, Thunderbird or iMail or Entourage.
  • To get to your mail in your browser, open your program (Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) and go to http://webmail.wowhostservices.net:9998 (You can use your domain name instead of "wowhostservices.net). Either way should work.
  • Login using your full email address and password.
  • View this video to see your setup steps: http://screencast.com/t/8Z1sciuZSdP

Spam Filtering

Spam filtering can be a challenge. We have controls set in to keep a lot of it out but if we make them to tight then we might filter out good emails. We will be working to refine that process for you.

I've made another video to show you how to set up your individual spam filtering and to clear the way for good email to get through. See http://screencast.com/t/f2L90c7xA for a video walk-through on hints for setting up your spam filters.

Once your settings are complete you can continue to use Smarter Mail online to handle your email or go back to Outlook and run it from there.

IMPORTANT!
For the first few weeks I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you use the online version to check your spam email folder once a day. Good stuff may be snagged there. The video will explain how to white list those senders.
